Recovering photos accidentally lost in transfer
When we connect our digital camera to our computer by means of a USB cable or insert the memory card from that camera into the card reader slot of our personal computer we begin a process of conversion that changes the original file format of the digital photograph to that of a more common file extension. This conversion is usually referred to as a Twain download. It consists of downloading in an uninterrupted stream all of the data of the original photo files and simultaneously converting that data to a more commonly accepted format such as a JPEG or GIF. Usually the download goes smoothly but should your camera batteries run low and shut down or should someone remove the SD card from the reader slot too soon photo file data will be lost in a random pattern. What is meant by random pattern is that one may see quite a few digital photographs arrive safely yet others are missing pieces of the picture.
The answer to this problem is to use a quality program designed to recover digital photos. To recover deleted photos in this manner simply download a full or trial version of the Remo Software photo recovery program and follow the wizard style instructions showing how to scan and recover lost photos from your camera’s original SD card. Remember anytime you want to recover digital photos from a memory card or other digital media you must never put new photos onto that card before you complete the recovery.
